Well, we are the household of the furry horde. Somehow, I get conned into fostering animals (happens when you have as many kids as I have and they know you have a tender heart for animals) and then I end up a foster failure and now have more animals then children. Anyways. Our latest foster is a sick litter of kittens that I've had to keep sequestered in the sun room away from out other animals. We aren't 100% sure about contagious level and I really don't want to wash poopy linen in the main washer, so I decided to get one of these efficiency ones for all of our future needs (like god forbid lice hit the household or some food poisoning lol).
This is really easy to use when it gets down to hit. I have 2 plastic shower stools I positioned under the washer in the actual tub so that i can fill and drain right then and there. I was able to hook the intake hose to my shower hose after taking off the head. You do have to stand and watch it fill, but it only takes a couple minutes so, eh, not really a con. I add the detergent and some bleach right into the tub and wet it to the wash cycle. I would say I only fill about half at a time with towels since they're heavy. And the great thing is you can fill it before you cycle so it soaks. I can't do that in my main washer which is one of the reasons I wanted this too. Pre soak capability (remember old washers where you just left the lid up for as long as you wanted??)
Depending on how bad the towels are (ooh boy they were bad in the beginning), I might run it twice before popping it in to the other side for the spin dry. The water then drains right into the tub and I can always bleach TF out of it when I'm done. Lol. After a spon or two, they go right on the line to air dry. Everything is separate and I know I can soak as long as I need to so overall it's EXACTLY what I needed. And when I'm done fostering (hah!), it'll probably go to my college age son for his dorm or to the hunting cabin for the hubs and his buddies so I don't have to do nasty laundry that's been sitting for over a week covered in deer urine.

I dislike the fact that the drain hose is short and very soft. I ordered and extention hose from Amazon and that didn't help because the drain hose which is so soft that it collapses when I tried connecting it to the extension. God another from Home Depot and that too didn't help.
Also, the hose for water inlet is too small and cannot connect to a regular faucet. I have to place the machine in the bathtub and fill it up using the shower hose. Using the bucket was too tasking.
Generally, the clothes come out clean and smell good. I love it especially for soaking my whites.

Excellent Customer Service

This machine is exactly what I needed! It arrived 3 days earlier than expected so I was excited and anxious to use it. I received the Costway rather than the ARLIME and learned that the Costway was created to have a stronger customer service component. They succeeded! I read the directions, which are a bit challenging due to translation. Within the directions it described how to take off the filter. However, the illustration did not include the word, "Filer" and instead used the words, "Overflow board". I was confused so contacted customer service. They responded within a couple of hours and, thus, began several days of exchanges. The overflow board is actually the filter. However, I could not pull it out, as instructed. After several back and forth exchanges and several photo attachments, I was finally able to release the filter ~ for me, it was a stubborn little component. I was delighted and immediately did a wash and spin dry ~ and it was perfect! I told the customer representative that I was completely satisfied now. Then, an unexpected response came: they were, "issuing me a partial refund of $10 because of the filter matter." I place strong importance on customer service as well as product functionality ~ ARLIME, aka Costway ~ excel at both! Thank you!! :-)
Good Little Washer

Overall, we really like this washer. We use a pitcher to fill it up in the bathtub. It works great for most of our clothes, and we are learning which ones we have to take to a laundromat. The first time we used it, we tried to wash towels and it was not pretty. Seemed like even though I only put in a tablespoon or less of detergent, it would never go away. After about 3 tries, I gave up and we took them to a family members house to wash. That made them fluffy again.
Now, when I'm up for it, I do 2 loads a day. One wash with soap, spin dry, then put back in without soap to rinse. After that, spin dry and hang. To save water, I'll reuse the rinse water to wash the second load. It's a good amount of effort, but I'm so grateful for this little machine allowing me to do laundry in my own house. I would recommend it

This is well worth the price for this powerful little "Barbi" washer. I'm amazed at how powerful it is and gets my clothes very clean. Highly recommend!
