I have only used this a few times and I already love it. When slowly cranking the pressure on the tofu up this will easily reduce the width of a block of tofu by 1/2. So far the most I've been able to push a tofu block down is by about 2/3 the original size.
One thing to note: there is a noticeable bend to both plastic pieces, especially the top piece, when used. I don't think this is a piece that will last a long time, but for the price it is totally worth it.

Washing it is a breeze- I just rinse it most of the time. Using it is even easier- just place the tofu block in it and continue to turn the nuts tighter until your tofu block is pressed to your liking. We definitely enjoy pressed tofu way more than unpressed. The old towel-put-something-heavy-on-it trick has NOTHING on ghost tofu press, in terms of how well pressed the tofu comes out to be!

I like this tofu press overall, it does the job. However, I feel like I could get more water out of my tofu. Maybe I'm not using it right but I feel like the plastic top flexes too much to get the most water out of your tofu. It is super easy to clean and put together. I think it would be a good beginner tofu press.
