I’ve had 4 knee surgeries & love this brace!

I've had my ACL/Meniscus replaced on both of my knees twice now- so I can promise you I know what I'm talking about! I've had clinical orthopedic hard casted knee braces made specifically designed for me and I prefer this one- it's so light, comfortable, it doesn't get in my way or move around too much. It disappears under my dress pants I work in and it keeps me standing. Before I bought this my knee by the end of the day would be doubled in size, red and hot to the touch bc I have major arthritis and now that's doesn't happen. It's blowing my mind and I'm so happy about it. I highly recommend actually measuring your thigh to get a proper fit- I did and I swear it doesn't move or fold over or do anything but support my knee. I'm eternally grateful â'¥ï¸
Even helps with swollen ankles, but how?!

I've had more knee surgeries then I can count, including a tibial tubercle transfer which was supposed to eliminate my knee dislocating ever again (yeah right, uh huh).
I was born Ehlers Danlos where I have very loose joints so since childhood I've had dislocated knees. Finally in 2009 I had a massive knee surgery on one and had several arthroscopic surgeries on both knees the following years too. Needless to say I'm always in pain.
Fast forward to 2015-ish and I start passing out. Find out that I have vasovagal syncope too (bad circulation that causes seizures and fainting from blood not circulating fast enough). The maint is easy enough, just compression socks, lots of salt, avoid heat and stress and anxiety. I've found recently that I put on weight so I wanted to start exercising. Of course that set off knee issues. Remaining sediatary not only causes weight gain but I noticed my ankles and calves were constantly swollen too (another side effect of vasovagal). I felt like I was fighting a losing battle.
I tried some OTC knee wraps, but those cut off my circulation and made the swelling worse. I still had the medical brace from the surgeries, but I can barely move in those. Ice helps temporarily but I can't live in an ice pack. Then I found this knee brace. Read the reviews and thought, maybe this could work for my knees. I got it and slid it on. Perfect fit! XL (I'm 5'8" 174.) It was VERY comfortable.
I could do yoga and it kept my knee from dislocating. I could do figure 8 dance exercise and it kept my knee from swelling. And it didn't hurt the backside of my knee like other wraps and braces! I kept it on the entire day. I actually forgot about it. I took it off at the end of the day while I was watching TV and maybe it was my imagination, but it almost felt more stable? So then I slid it over my other knee and watched TV, fell asleep, went to bed, and slept all night with it on. I couldn't have done that with any other wrap or brace. I woke up and quickly took it off thinking I just did some real swollen damage to myself. I looked down and for the first time in a LONG time I could see BOTH ankles! What in the?! How is that possible? And again the knee felt more stable!
So after the morning shower and getting ready I slid the brace over the first knee and spent the day in it again. The relief was really indescribable. Sigh...
I'm getting ready to order a second one so I don't have to alternate wearing them. I don't know what magic is in the design, but I love it!

I wrote about this problem to NEENCA Customer Service. They immediately got back to me and told me they understand the problem and right away shipped me another similar knee brace. In these days of often crappy customer service, this response was amazingly on target and highly satisfying. I also read more reviews of this product and believe that the problem I pointed out earlier may be a one-off kind of a quality control problem that the NEENCA folks resolved by sending me a replacement right away. Therefore, I changed my rating to a 5-star rating which both the product and the customer service of this company deserve.

I bought this knee brace nearly three weeks ago. The first one I got was a "L" size brace based on the size chart provided by the manufacturer on the product page for this knee brace on amazon website. As noted by many other reviewers, the size chart is not correct and the "L" size sleeve was just too tight for me, and I had to return it and order an "XL" size knee brace. The "XL" size has a good fit with my leg and I certainly found this knee brace to be helpful in reducing my knee pain. It is supportive and the silicone ring around the knee cap feels quite comfortable. However, the quality of this knee brace needs to be improved. While the two plastic stabilizer bars on the two sides bend properly for me and have not broken so far unlike for some other reviewers, the blue cloth inside the sleeve that covers and holds the plastic braces in place has started coming off on one side and it seems it was not glued properly on the sleeve material. I have only worn this knee brace for just about three weeks and it is clear that this cloth is going to come off completely which will mean the stabilizer bars will not be held in place and the knee brace will become useless. I am going to contact the manufacturer and if they don't respond in time, I will return this knee brace to amazon as I still have a small window of time to return it. I am giving it a 3-star rating because the knee brace is otherwise designed to support the knee and does support it, but the manufacturing quality is not what it should be. I hope this review is helpful to other buyers of this knee brace.

Glad I read through the reviews

Based off what it says to measure, I was on the line of a Large/XL which didn't make sense to me. I read a review that stated they had issues with sizing due to a larger thigh but smaller knees and calf. So I went with my gut and bought a Medium even though 5.5" above my knee measured 17.5". The medium fits PERFECTLY and stays put, doesn't slide and its not too tight. The only time I experience any discomfort is if I am sitting with my leg bent for too long. Otherwise, it gives me great support and has helped tremendously with my knee pain and it constantly wanting to buckle.
Highly recommend if you can get the measurements right.

I have been using this knee brace for about a year every time I golf or exercise. It is very comfortable with great support on the knee cap and both sides of the knee. It doesn't slip down. It helps me feel confident that I will not experience the knee pain after exercise/golf.
