It's a great ice maker after you finally get all the plumbing right. I bought a braded water line and that didn't work so after 2 orders of parts I finally got all the parts I needed. They really need to have a better picture of the back of the machine. We just empty the ice into a bin in our freezer as the machine dosen't hold that much.

Make sure you have proper drainage in place before you set the machine up.
It works like a dream, but don't rely on it for a fast paced environment like a dine in restaurant with patrons in and out frequently. With careful planning in advance, this ice machine will make more than sufficient ice for a family event provided you routinely empty the machine and store some for later.

Product works great. I built a stand and put rollers on the bottom. You can probably buy one. I used a bucket to drain until I had time to run permanent drain pipes. It had about 5 inches on water in a 5 gallon pail over 24 hours. I was expecting more so it is great to know it's not wasting that much water! I thought this machine was priced reasonable and my family loves it. The fridge icemaker isn't enough for a big family, so this is a great addition to our kitchen. I did install a filter I also bought on Amazon. If you are installing yourself I recommend you go to a local hardware store with your filter and freezer hose to get the right fittings, big box stores aren't much help finding the right fittings. I'm sure if you would like to use the machine without permanent plumbing you won't be disappointed either. Just elevate the machine at least a foot off the ground to adequately drain.
I love it. I will have plenty of ice!
