I love this bag but the strap only lasted just over a year"¦.

This thing is perfect and beautiful.
I wanted another color but was leary of spending the money on a bag sight unseen so I bought a returned one for less. I found a note inside from previous buyer saying they loved it but it was too big. I personally love the size and the fact that it's harder sided.
The computer compartment being in the middle was also a big sell for me. I can fit my computer,notebook,small binder,mouse and cord easily. It stands up on its own which is a hugh plus to me. I get compliments on it regularly.

I love everything about this bag. I'm a notary and realtor in CA and I've gotten so many compliments since buying, it makes me smile every time I see it, and it's totally functional fitting all of my daily supplies and files instead.
I wanted something friendly and actually able to use it as an identifier when meeting new clients bc how many people have a yellow bag? Pick a crazy color bc it's stylish enough to pass as professional.
Lighter colors do show more. I carry by the handle not the arm strap. So happy I bought.

This bag is very good quality! The amount of compliments I have gotten at work plus the only reason I discovered this bag was from a friend because when I would go into her office I always complimented her bag till I finally asked where she got it from! Now the only thing is after awhile the gold buckle will get scratched up but not to noticeable unless if you are just looking at it up close! Highly recommend in getting and plan on getting the other colors! 😀

I am giving this five stars because it is beautiful, looks very well-made and durable, and is everything the listing said it was. I purchased this in hopes to combine the two bags I carry on a daily basis - a regular purse, and a structured tote that I use to carry my laptop, and a few computer accessories. The tote doesn't have a top so I'm not comfortable carrying my wallet in it.

I think I will be returning, however, in search of something wider. While there is nothing wrong with the bag, I am writing this to help out anyone like me who looks through reviews for the nuances of a product.

After excitedly opening it and filling it with my must-haves, I found it difficult to see what was in each section because it was so deep, but not very wide. The laptop section is in the middle, which does provide the best protection for the laptop, but it makes the dimensions of the bag much less for the other spaces. As someone who starts with the essentials but always accumulates extras, I'm afraid I'll have to empty the bag frequently to find what I'm looking for.

Additionally, it was a little heavy for carrying on my shoulders. It would be fine for the quick trips walking to and from my car, but if I needed to walk around for several minutes it would hurt. A shoulder pad would be a lovely addition to help distribute the weight a little more. The strap for your hand is very sturdy (I didn't remove the plastic but it seems like it would be comfortable), so not an issue if you're not needing the shoulder strap!
