An Inexpensive Slicing Tool

This is a perfectly workable bread slicing guide. (No knives included.) The construction is not as sturdy as others far more expensive, but for the price it's worth the value. Watch your dimensions to be sure the loaves you want to slice fit into the unit. Down the road I may get a more sophisticated cutting guide, but I have no complaints about this one. PS--it ships with no instructions, just four plastic plastic pieces like a puzzle. I had to refer to the photos here to snap it together correctly.

Sandwiches are difficult when the knife doesn't behave, and gives you a thin slice that curls in the toaster, and the next one could stop a door.
