I love this coat for my greyhound! It fits him perfectly and is soft and warm.

These are great quality for the price... I bought a Medium and an Extra Small for both of my Whippets and here are their sizes.

Bought Medium in Black: Full grown Male Whippet - 36lbs; neck = 12in circumference; chest = 25in; back length = 23in

Bought X-Small in Red: 5 month Female Whippet - 20lbs; neck = 10in; chest = 22in; back length = 19in

Well constructed; soft and warm material - feels exactly like a thin to medium thickness fleece; love the reflective piping they used for the borders. It's classy reflective; not in your face reflective...great LONG Neck coverage.
dogs seem to like the fact that there are no leg holes necessary to squeeze through and no movement restrictions or rubbing/chafing on their legs while in use..it is also super quick to slip on and off as a result...like in seconds.

Hopefully the measurements and the pics are helpful for perspective and comparison purposes.

Not the perfect fit, but pretty great for the price and for working with standard size options unlike the custom (& a lot more expensive) options typically required for most Whippet and sight hound clothing...at least here in the US.

Do you know how hard it is to find any kind of sweater or coat for a Doberman? It's awful! Their chests are so deep that everything you buy for them NEVER fits. It binds all over them, and they run out of the sleeves in about 2 minutes. But they're not built for really cold weather. Their short coat is gorgeous and easy to care for, but it leaves a lot to be desired in the snow. So you HAVE to find a sweater or coat for them. Which brings you back to the first problem, NOTHING fits. Very frustrating...

But THIS coat is a different story. The lovely warm turtleneck is perfect for elegant Doberman necks. And you can fit the belt that goes around exactly at your Dobe's waist so it always fits comfortably, and is secure. And brother is this thing warm. My Dobe travels with me and we've been in some really cold climates. I mean C O L D ! So I put this coat on her before I take her outside and she's warm as toast. Plus it lets her run full out, and never gets in her way.

Be warned, though...I had to buy the NEXT SIZE UP from what the chart said to make this a comfortable coat for her. (Due to the whole deep-chest-tiny-waist-need-to-move-like-a-cheetah thing that Dobe's have going on.) But this thing fits perfectly now.

So my Dobe and I are giving a big thumbs up on this one. If you have a deep-chested dog you should DEFINITELY give this coat strong consideration.

I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because the sizing is a bit funky. Thankfully, it worked really well for my Whippet, but may be a bit off with sight hounds of different sizes. We got a medium sized jacket and she hovers at about 30 pounds, give or take. She is shorter and sportier in physique than most Whips, and really lean in her hind end. As such, the jacket was able to wrap around her right at the thinnest part of her belly before her flank (basically wraps where the spay scar is). It doesn't wrap around the chest. The strap is very low by their private parts. A male dog would likely not fit well with it because he wouldn't be able to potty without peeing on himself. It's very warm fleece (I thought it was more of a horse blanket material from the pics, but it's a double layered, very thick fleece). It's soft and comfy. Craftsmanship is quite good. All stitching is well done. The reflective part is great. The grey is a darker grey than the photo and the pink one (we got a couple sets) is a bit like bubble gum pink. All in all, they are perfect for the price if you can size them right. Ours are a bit too long for her, but I worry the strap on the size small won't close well. So, we are staying with the medium size.

We purchased three of these, in three different colors, for our whippets. Our whippets range in size from 20 pounds, to 27 pounds. They are very comfy, soft, easy to put on and take off, and they have the velcro belt to tighten or loosen around their waist. The neck is a turtle neck which can be folded back, which is nice for the sight-hounds with long-necks. Our dogs do not fuss with these when they are on, as they have done with other clothing items. We are definitely satisfied with this purchase and would do so again.
