Beans arrived quickly and well packaged. Used these beans, along with a meaty ham bone, to make bean soup. I did wash and strain them for foreign debris and found very little - one stone that was about the same size as a bean. They are pricey - so I am sure many people will baulk at the buying them.

If you like Great Northern beans you will love these. At first sight I was disappointed because the beans were small for Great Northerns, no bigger than navy beans, but after crocking with soup bones they swelled up to normal Great Northern size. Very tasty, hight quality beans. You won't be disappointed.

If you don't live somewhere, where these beans are available locally, I strongly suggest you order them. Camellia beans, all varieties I've tried, are just so much better than what's generally available in your local super market.
