I did not read the part where it said "mini." I take the blame for that. This is not a standard size twin washer. It works just fine for small items such as tops, underwear and baby clothes, not for jeans or bigger items. The 5 star review is for the seller, and his great customer service skills.

After 2 years of living on the top floor of a lovely vintage building that only has coin laundry in the basement (that maybe worked 50% of the time), my back protested laundry time. Carrying heavy loads of laundry up and down 4 flights of stairs left me with debilitating back pain for DAYS to the point that I would avoid doing my laundry"¦ but then it'd pile up and I'd have more to carry up/down the stairs"¦

Wash mode: works great! Easily hooks up to a standard faucet. You need less detergent than you think, and I usually do 1 wash mode, empty the washer, then do a rinse mode before transferring things to the spin dryer.
Spin dry: surprisingly super effective!!! I always put it on the max time allotment (5 minutes), and by the time it's done, the clothes are nearly dry. I just put them on hangers and air dry them on my clothes rack for a few hours. BOOM. Done.
Things I recommend to make using this item & the process smooth:
- prop the machine on a step stool to make it easier for gravity to drain the water, and drain it into a bucket so you can pour it out into the sink. Put a towel down in case the drain hose slips when you're not looking (I learned the hard way when I was multitasking and not paying attention! Oops!)
- get a floating lint trap for the washer.
- use laundry softener or some sort of laundry boost like an odor/build up remover to keep things soft and extra clean. Again, you need less than you think!
Working on getting in the habit of washing my first clothes more immediately in small loads so the laundry doesn't pile up and become overwhelming.
10/10 recommend this for anyone living without in-unit laundry!

Very easy to use. It easy to maneuver and move the washer around since it small enough. You can use the hose that it came with or use a bucket/separate hose to pour into the washer. You are able to put tshirts, undergarments or anything light into the wash. Everytime I use I do 2 cycle of 15 mins wash due to the first cycle is for soap and 2nd cycle is to rinse. The draining part is a bit of a challenge. The hose for the drain is short, you should place it where you can drain it easily or have a bucket handy to pour it in. The spinner to dry the clothes is nice, you can only put small amount at a time and the washer does move when it spinning the clothes to dry. Overall this is a very nice product to wash light weight clothes.
