It was easy to cut to fit to my stove and counter. It definitely prevents crumbs etc from getting trapped. My one issue is I hoped clear would mean unobtrusive, but this is very noticeable. In second photo you can see how I notched it to fit around the stove back. I think next time I would prefer black to blend with stove top.

I bought these to replace a set of stainless steel covers I have been using for a few years. There was nothing wrong with the old ones, but I thought the black would be less conspicuous than the stainless steel ones. They come folded, so getting them to lay flat and getting the piece on the bottom to sit between the stove and counter took some time and patience. However, the next day, the fold crease had flattened out and they were well situated. They don't move around like the stainless steel ones did. Since they are silicon, they "stick" in place. They are a little harder to clean than the stainless, because the dish cloth doesn't run over them as smoothly as it does over metal. But they come clean and that's what really matters. These gap fillers really do help to keep food and drips from falling between the stove and cabinets, which can otherwise only be cleaned by moving the unit out. Measure first to make sure you get the right size. Good product!

These are great silicon strips to keep crumbs and dirt from falling between the stove and countertop. I wish I'd had them when my gas downdraft stove was initially installed. I did have to cut them to fit, as they are a bit wide, but I think they're made that way for universal fit. It was easy to do with a razor blade and metal straight edge. Other than that, they're easy to clean and fit well (dampening the silicon with a damp paper towel will make them adhere to the counter top perfectly). Highly recommended to fill that pesky gap between the stove and countertop.
