Sent internet 604 feet to my other house
Patrick Garon✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 4, 2023
It was super easy to setup, the settings are not very intuitive in regards to the signal strength when aligning, you only know after its paired and it kind of has a signal meter, I would not count on that to aim, it does not update in real time like a cell or a wifi meter does.

So with it being 20 Meters or 600 Ft, with clear line of sight It shows on the device "full bars" so the link should be 900mbps according to the advertisement. The most I have seen this do is 300mbps both up and down, this is connected to a 2Gb fiber connection, though a Gigabit port. It seems like a rock solid connection thus far, its been 100F outside and its been though 2 rains and its still working fine!

Just to note even while setting them up locally with them being just a few feet away from each other, I could not get near the 900Mbps advertised (the reason for 4 stars and not 5), I tried messing with the channels, power level etc, but still seems to be no more than 300Mbps both download and upload, don't get me wrong it works, but I may end up purchasing another brand that I have seen videos on showing the speeds getting at or neat 1Gbps, because since I have a 2Gb both up and down internet connection, I would like to be able to send 1Gb to the other house.

I also played around with it to see how well it does though trees and buildings, it actually does quite well, I drove about a mile away and powered it up though an inverter in my Car and set up a tripod an\d was able to get a signal though the woods and a few houses a mile away. I would have tried further, but there was no place to drive that would be aiming at the device at my house.

So for the cost its not bad, but I would prefer a gigabit connection, and either an actual signal meter on the item, or at least in the web interface. That reminds me, even inside the web interface, there is no signal meter to tell you anything like Ubiquity, which is the company that I will be getting my next set with. I will still use this one, but it may just end up being used to cover my property in wifi, since you can connect to this as an access point aswell, and it covers my entire property when I'm outside. Half an Acre.
Quick easy set up - work fantastic

We have a "cabin in the woods" that we rent out through AirBnB. Everyone wants high speed internet/wifi. Cable company wanted close to 7 grand to run service to it...and the phone company said no high speed, just dial up.... and I've heard all the horror stories about the cost of satellite internet.... I figured for under 100 bucks, this was worth a try. The hardest part was clearing the trees for clear line of site. Our cabin is one side of our "valley" and our main home is on the other. Our main home has Spectrum high speed. These things were a snap to get up and running. My advice, ignore the instructions except for the part about plugging them in. They "found" each other in about 10 seconds and we had 80mpbs going into the sending side and about 3000 feet away (give or take a 100 feet) at the receiving side, PLUS 150 feet of Cat 6 wire, was reading 75mpbs (Ethernet)...less than 5% loss and I am willing to bet if I cut down one more tree that I could get that to zero loss (not worth the trouble). We have had everything up and running for about a month now with no issues at all. They only extra thing I did (because they just don't appear to be water tight to me...although I could be wrong, they may be) was that I made sure I put the sending unit up under the eave of our main house to keep it out of the rain...but the receiving unit I had to put on a pole in the yard and run Cat 6 another 150 feet from there (couldn't get line of site to actual cabin), so I built a small "roof" just above help keep it dry. Bottom-line, I spent about $150 total, including wire and a cheap wife router with no added monthly costs....well worth the effort. If you can manage to get a clear line of site, I highly recommend this...but if you have trees and leaves in the way, you will need to do some work first.
Easy bridge setup for 300 ft span

I used this to create a wireless internet service bridge from our main building to another across the road about 300ft away and it's easy to setup and share the service.
Works great!

The instructions are poorly written, but with trial and error I got it working. Once set up, the connection has been solid for 4 months so far. Speed tests show a consistent 85mbps at 100+ yards with a few obstructions.
Powerful and cheap AP solution.

I bought this pair to use as access points around my block of flats because the mobile phone signal is so bad and so that my kids could watch whatever rubbish on their devices with their friends. no different to setting up any other AP at home with SSID and the like. Make sure that both are switched to master and they will both run as APs.

The performance of these is excellent and I have good Wi-Fi signal roughly 400m away from my block of flats, which is very impressive.
it's still working well
