I'm a beginner cigar smoker who required a little humidor to keep 5-10 for my occasional smoke. Was happy to have a display system and to find one that's reasonably priced for my new hobby. I saw some complaints in the reviews but I figured I'd give it a try. Anyone having issues with the humidity control would be better served to look up how to season a humidor. I have it at a 70 humidity stable right now and all I did was lightly moisten a sponge with distilled water, rubbed it on the wood, left two shot glasses of distilled water (one on top of the holder and one at the base) for 1½ days. Then when it was at 72 I took those out, put the humidifier that came with it in, and let it stabilizer. Since the digital display was already calibrated all i had to do was put my cigars in and let it stabilize again, keeping an eye on on it every 2 hours. For 48 hours it has sat at 70 and everything is great. Sadly it doesn't hold Churchill size cigars, they are about ⅕ inch too big to be displayed. So anything under 7in is great. The ring size is a bit small but I have no complaints for this starter humidor at a low price. So if you are a expert or intermediate cigar smoker who keeps more than 10 at a time this may not be for you. But if you are a beginner or intermediate who smokes a few a week or month and keep less than 10 at a time, this is a perfect purchase. Just follow the instructions and season it(YouTube helps significantly) and you'll have a great humidor.

The humidor fits great on my shelf, holds a wide selection of my favorite cigars and holds humidity very well. I've seen from other reviews that some people have problem with theirs holding humidity. I have not had that problem. I would like to say that there are some larger Churchhill cigars that will not fit in this humidor, but for the vast majority of cigars they fit very well
