I bought the two pack. First one installed on two lights no issue. Took about an hour or so to install. App setup failed out ended up needing to use the URL/IP join method. Since the app setup failed the mobile app is useless. Reset it a few times to no avail so use the URL / IP join method.

Second one was a bit messier. Two of the ports on the Shelly were kinda lose / damaged from the get go. Tried to install anyhow, install was fine but it tripped the breaker after install. Turns out the two ports were lose and let the cables out in my box. Tried to rewire, with everything outside the box. BIG MISTAKE. Got it done went to turn on the breaker and the cables slipped out again and touched each other and melted a part of the Shelly.

Ended up rewiring everything back and now I have 1 working Shelly and 1 broken one. Not sure how to return a 2 pack when one is jacked. I like the other one but this one is definitely useless so I paid for 2 and only got 1. Would take a replacement or flat out return at this point.

UPDATE: SELLER was awesome and always able to help me get this fixed. Bought several more. LOVE these things!!

I've been converting my shop to be automated using tech gadgets like wifi bulbs, electric plugs, and Alexa. I found out about these things and had to try them out. I wanted to be able to control ceiling fans on wall switches and these little devices were the solution. The install was somewhat difficult - mostly because I'm a novice electrician. Once I figured out the wiring in the box, the devices were easy to set up using the app. Now I turn my fans on/off using voice commands. I will definitely purchase Shelly products for future automation projects.

I've installed Shelly 2.5 on all my roller shutters and also to control some of my lights. Following a small issue that was fixed by a firmware update, I enjoy the automatic scheduled opening of the shutters in my bedrom every morning to help we wake up with the sun light.

Installation is quite easy and the product works very well.

Small, easy to configure and with excellent capabilities. Highly recommended.

Product works great after I spent a lot of time on trying to pair that thing.. the app is very unfriendly, full of bugs so I had to do factory reset several times by shutting the electricity down, then up and press the button 5 times. After the pairing finally succeeded, the app is just horrible so it has to be connect to some smart device such as Siri/Alexa/apple shortcuts etc.
Overall I rated it 4 because I suffered from the installation only 1 hour and now it works without problems (except some app issues)
