I'm a State forest Ranger, and my patrol truck didn't come with a red interior light, and being on night patrol, I needed one.
This does a pretty decent job and is plenty bright enough!
I have to charge mine once a week to keep it going.
Some things to consider:
If you want the same color each time, you must cycle through the colors every time your turn it on until it gets to your desired color. I have to push the power button 7 times each time to get to red.
If you push the power button too fast, it will put it on what I like to call "Disco Mode" and will make the inside of your patrol rig/cruiser look like Studio 54.
Other than that, it's not bad!

This is a great item. Better than I expected. Very easy to use and install. I use it in my vehicle, however it can be used in the home or anywhere. Only one small issue. All the instructions are in Chinese. But you don't need to read in instructions. The illustration will show you. Very very easy to install.
