WORK GREAT!
CHORNING✓ Verified Purchase•November 1, 2023
Have tried $5000 RIC aids...they worked but, at the time my hearing (I didn't think) was that bad...3 years ago.
Got by for a few years with the ITC aids but they would only last about a year (if I was lucky) and the feedback was very annoying. One of the great things about RIC aids is that the mic's are behind your ear...a long way from the speaker in your year mitigating feedback screeching (unless you have volume cranked way up). I did have a problem with one of the aids making my ear sore where the wire touched my ear. I wore that one on and off until my ear toughened up. One thing I like is you can actually turn off/mute the rear mics. This is a feature that I use quite often if in a restaurant or sitting next to a hard wall where sound is reflected. Yes...$100 amplifiers work but not for long and the feed back sucks. The Neosonics are expensive but not $5000 expensive. Each aid is quality! The charger with it's magnetic aid attachment is quality. It's only been about 3 months but at this point I would highly recommend.
Addendum: Approx 6 months after purchasing, the right ear's aid battery began to fail. Previously it was good for at least 16 hours...and more. I contacted Neosonic and Patricia ask me to send in the appliance. After about a week, a new (or repaired) hearing amplifier arrived. It been several weeks since I received and the battery is back to holding a charge for 16+ hours. Still happy with the amplifiers and happy I purchase the extended warranty insurance.

SAVED MY SANITY

My husband had gotten so hard of hearing, it seemed all I did was yell and all he'd say was "WHAT?" and "HUH?" Often times I'd look at him after telling him something and he'd just have this blank look on his face. I'd say "You didn't hear a word I said, did you?" and he'd shake his head. We tried to book an appointment with a well known hearing center, but they were 6 month out with appointments. The Neosonic Hearing Amplifiers were suppose to only be a test drive to get us through until he could get in, but they work so well, we cancelled the appointment. These things are awesome and truly saved my sanity and my marriage.
Best OTC hearing aides I have found.

These rechargeable hearing aides are small and comfortable. My hearing loss is mostly high end, and these aides have the best sound I have found - including rx pair costing over 5k. Noise reduction is good and they seem to be splash proof as advertised. No more batteries to struggle with and they have a power switch which is important to me when I put them on or take them off - and they end up in a pocket.
A reasonable price is a requirement for me since I am kind of rough with them. I purchased a second pair so that I have a backup should I lose or damage them - and a pair always fully charged and ready to wear. I have been using them for more than a year now and highly recommended them.

Will buy again!

These hearing aids are much superior to the ones I paid four times as much for. The cost of the batteries that you will not have to buy will pay for these hearing aids themselves. I am very satisfied with this product and will recommend them to friends.
Rechargeable Batteries are a game changer!

These were the 4th pair of hearing aids we've tried and although they can't be called "hearing aids" they work just the same and even better. The best part is the rechargeable batteries! Little pea-sized batteries that you have to change every week are not friendly to old hands. Oh, and did I mention that they were $100's less too?
