I am not a professional groomer but I have shaved/groomed quite a few animals growing up on a farm with show animals and dogs.
Pros:
Super lightweight and quiet.
No cord!!!
Full battery right out of the box.
Shaved 3 large dogs with them before needing a charge.
Cost!

A little too lightweight for the size of the dogs I'm working with
Plastic blade cover, cheaply made
Will probably need to replace soon after 3 large breeds
So, that all said, I have 3 large Labradoodles with flat coats. To get them groomed for summer would cost in the $300 range. I bought these clippers, they arrived with 48hrs fully charged and I gave my 3 dogs a full body cut within the next 48hrs. I can't complain!!! I feel like I saved myself over $250 this week so that is a major win!!
I have a labrador with a thick coat and I don't think these would handle the job. If I had an Australian Shepard, curly-haired poodle, etc, I would probably invest in a better set of clippers. They might work for the first time but I could tell there was a lower-quality cut by the time I started on the 3rd dog with an easy coat.
If I had a small breed dog, these would be my go-to!
To recap - I am extremely happy with my purchase. I only knocked it 1 star so that buyers would keep a realistic expectation of what they are getting. That being said, these were perfect for us.

This worked pretty well on our maine coon mix. He got fleas and needed to be shaved to help get rid of the infestation. He didn't mind the noise or the buzzing on this one, and didn't freak out like he has with other "pet" trimmers. It was easy to clean, easy to adjust, and charged quickly. The storage case is sturdy and has enough room for everything.

These are the third clippers I bought in two years. immediately upon unboxing I could see the difference from others. Firstly, these came in a firm case that neatly houses all the components. The combs are made from a durable plastic that firmly attaches to the clippers. Others have combs that barely hang on, and the comb teeth snag and pull upon confronting a matt. These are whisper quiet, with practically little vibration. Immediately I was rest assured that my dog would not be intimidated, or my hand getting fatigued. Prior clippers would constantly clogg with Moppett's long, soft hair. Thus I would have to repeatedly stop to unclog them. I've already discovered that there is a difference between human and canine clippers, so this time I did some further research. Moppett has long, soft, yet dense hair, not the typical short, coarse fur. Who knew that there were different clippers for different canine coats? When said and done I am extremely impressed with this clipper, Typically it would take nearly three hours to groom Moppett, with these clippers I was said and done in thirty minutes. I can not recommend enough that you give this clipper a try for your little buddy.

I've never used clippers or groomed a dog. I bought these because living in Texas and with it being over 100 degrees everyday my dog has been hot!! I used these and they worked great. I will say they did not come with instructions so I just took a guess on which guard to use!

This is the best clipper I have ever used! Trust me, I've used a lot of them. The hair shaved right off. No razor burn, no nicks or cuts. I shaved my 5 Mini Schnauzers all on the same charge. I love that it's rechargeable also. I very highly recommend this clipper. It's amazing!
