My husband wears this for work as a plumber, so durability, and comfortability are a plus, as well as being water resistant. When my husband wore them he loved them and said that they were light, and felt like he was walking on clouds. Definitely loved these shoes and he may just consider re-ordering another pair in the near future.

I bought a pair of these boots for my husband I for our jobs.
We both put ours to the test! The inner liner gave up long before the outside.
After about 6 months, my husband needed inserts, and I needed more arch support.
Over a year later, both our boots are still in tact. Best boots and even better price!

I've had my pair for almost a year. Some of the stitching is starting to come apart but given the many miles I've walked in these boots it's understandable. Despite the stitching issue I have still yet to experience wet feet from below the step in to the boot. Actually, I can't think of any time my feet ever got wet wearing these boots. I also can't think of a single time I had a slipping issue. Overall, I would say that I got way more out of these boots than I ever expected considering the price. I'm going to replace these with the tactical boots and see how well they hold up, but I certainly recommend this boot to anyone looking for a good pair of steel toe work boots!

Unlike all other leather work boots I've worn, these are very easy to break in. No blisters or bruises on your ankles. Broken in perfectly in less than a week.

Cons: Sizing for me personally was way off. I'm normally a 6 in men, 7.5 in women. Despite all reviews saying they fit true to size, I paid attention to the sizing chart in the listing and decided to order a size down so I did. My size 5 in men (smallest size sold) fits probably more like a 7 in men! It was nothing that an extra pair of insoles didnt help fix for the most part and for my specific job, it's important to be comfortable for many hours/days at a time so I don't mind the boot still being a little loose because of how comfortable they are after being broken in. But consider the sizing heavily before you buy. They do not fit true to size.

First, you cannot beat the value for the price. Especially since there are insoles included as well. They fit the boot perfectly with no trimming. This is a very well made boot. I am a 10 Women's and I got the 9 in this boot and it fits perfectly lengthwise plus some wiggle room. I think average width would have fit more snug, which I prefer, as it is somewhat roomy at the top of the foot around the ankle area so it gives a bit of a loose feel. Thin socks won't help much but with the inserts and winter socks it's much better. I think if I double up on the insoles, with winter socks they'll be almost perfect. The style does make the foot appear long - I've leather lace ups that are the same size and these do make my feet look bigger - not very flattering. Yes I know they are a work shoe but women still like them to be on the attractive side and not leaning towards Bozo the Clown. I find the toe protection completely undetectable, which I was really happy about. You'd never know it was there. I do feel the sewn seams on the outside of my left foot - probably could use a bit more padding on the sides to eliminate that. Since they are leather I know they will wear in after a few uses and heavier socks will help with that somewhat. I do find the top edges, while roomy, still hit the front of my shins and they are sore after working all night. Again, they will wear in and soften up after some use - just uncomfortable in the meantime. I think padding around the top edge extending down at least a half inch would be ideal to increase comfort.
They are very warm boots as well - I bought them specifically for winter use so I am happy they are warm. I wouldn't use them in summer as they don't breathe especially if you pull your pants over the tops - it will hold in the heat.
Overall, a really nice quality boot. Just some minor things I can live with since they should remedy for the most part with some use.
