Overall I like these pens. I will probably buy another set when the refills that come with the pack start to run out. I use them for coloring. A few things to ba aware of before you buy: 1) I was missing a green and got 2 purples in it's place. I used the refills to correct it. 2) some of the colors are very oddly named!! 😅 3) If you're coloring a large area with 1 pen, the ink takes a while to dry (>1 min in the case of large areas) and gives off a very faint, funky smell, at least I noticed some of the neon colors do. Also noteworthy, the special pens (eg, glitter, neon, metallic, pastel) seem to have a significantly thicker point than the regular ones (comparable to writing with a bold 0.8 - 1.0mm tip for the special pens vs 0.5 fine for the regular colors). For me and for coloring I greatly prefer the bold point, and most of the pens fall under one of these categories, but if you are journaling and want a fine point, a majority of the pens will be too bold for you. Also the color change ones sometimes actually work, especially the yellow.

So many pretty colors & case is organized very nicely & to have extra pen refills is a big bonus!!

I picked these pens up based on a recommendation from an art therapist. They work beautifully for coloring and writing. Very smooth, vibrant colors, cap tightly, and zip into the carrier perfectly.

They have a COMPLETE set of refills. I use these daily and I have yet to need to replace any of the ink pods.

There's a scratch sheet of card stock and several sketches for coloring that are nice as well.

I purchased this set for my granddaughter who loves to draw. They worked great for her. And having the refills with it makes it handy. The only complaint she had was she ran out of the black quickly. Maybe they could add extra, extra black in the the case.

I bought this when I decided to take on coloring books. What else am I going to do while my son is watching bluey? Anyway, this summer I have purchased a lot of other gel pens, used them and had a few issues here with the others like "Where is the light pale blue? "Why is the only shade of red a cool toned red?" things like this. These guys are super smooth!! My mother in law gave me her 100ct castle arts gel pen set which is nice. Despite this there are a lot of colors I wish I had. The neon colors in that set I have problems with them writing consistently. Neons here are great! My only complaint is that some of the metallic colors get overwhelmed with the silver added and it morphs into this weird blue gray on account of the silver added for metallic. I have purchased a whole lot of Gelly Roll pens and they hold up against Gelly roll..well..the pastels, solids and glitters do..the metallics have that overwhelming shadow issue make Gelly Roll superior there.

Basically, this set has a really good range of colors that I dont see elsewhere. The others have one or two red, the light greens are a spring green when i just want a pale green, glitter or metallic oranges are dark oranges..gross no I want true orange with sparkles. Get this set! On its own it could be okay! If anything, its a mandatory complimentary support set for what the other sets are lacking. If I had all the sets I have now and i didnt have this one I would be pissed.
