This product is great. It does exactly what it claims. I sprayed it on my concrete steps that were cleared off but the temp was still close to 30-35degrees F. Snow and ice came. I swept off the snow and it was clear underneath. My dog was able to go up and down the steps without slipping. It lasted a week and then I reapplied.

The media could not be loaded. This product worked remarkably well for preventing snow build up on our driveway and sidewalk when applied to dry concrete the previous day. But not perfect - it didn't work on one newer section of driveway, and in an area that was already a little slushy from the previous storm it didn't work at all as a preventative. Maybe it helped melt some of the ice in those areas, but couldn't really tell.
The product doesn't ship with an applicator, but my hand pump sprayer worked really well.
One $50 bottle was enough to treat my driveway and most of the sidewalk around me on a corner lot. It's not more cost effective than using a good ol' shovel, but if you've got areas that you need to keep clear of snow and ice, and you won't be able to shovel it off promptly, this might be a good spot treatment.

I had no way of spraying it, so I dumped little amount where we have issues. For the most part we had no ice develope while things were melting and refreezing. I didn't receive this item until after the storm, so I am unsure if it would have been better at preventing when applied before storm.

Recently we had a severe snow and ice storm, which includes 14.5 inches of snow here in Lincoln, Nebraska. I have a 3 car stall garage. The ice accumulated deep under the snow. I used this stuff to remove the ice from my driveway. It sure beats trying to break all the ice up with the shovel. It was also nice to worry about tracking in pellets that could potentially impact my cat and dog.
