So far, these traps get my Five-Star Rating.
I'm giving these traps a Four-Star rating because I rarely trust Five-Star Ratings. I always look at 3 to 4 star ratings because I believe they are better informed and less emotional.
We have had a lot of rain this year and so with all the plant growth, it's paradise for rodents.... and snakes (see my snake gaiter review). We have cars and equipment that have to be protected from rodent damage (primarily electric wires) and we've tried nearly everything. If there was something that *really* worked, everyone would be using it, however, these traps have been a significant improvement over the other methods we've tried. They are easy to arm and I like the removeable bait tray. The attachment loop is great for tying the traps down so they won't be removed by other critters,
I wish they had a smooth bottom so I could "Velcro" them in place under the hood of the cars.
UPDATE: Still snappin'. These traps are still outperforming the other traps 4:1, including traps of similar design.

this trap most definitely does its job....i have found dead mice every few days with a good placement and some tasty peanut butter....so, its a killer for sure. however, once you load the peanut butter in its little tray, it can take awhile to lock the trap...somehow the little trigger doesnt want to engage...once you get it, it works fine...but, could be easier

Easy to bait and easy to set. Also more sensitive and reliable than the conventional wood traps I've been using. Easier to reuse the trap after a catch too. Generally the dead mouse just falls out of the claws when you turn the trap upside down and shake it a little. Setting the trap is much safer too. I will never go back to the conventional wooden mouse traps after using these.
