At first I read the reviews and they were all over the place. Like anything there are negative ones and positive ones. I ordered this to control an amber strobe light bar on the roof of my car. I direct traffic for a living so I needed something that would last. This control box is on at least 8 hours a day on my car with no break. The box itself is mounted above the engine but it doesn't seem to phase it. It saves the last setting so if you hit the power button while it's on it will shut down and restart where it left off. If I had to give a downside it would be that the illumination is only on when you hit power. I would like it to light up with the rest of the car when headlights are on and there could be more stickers. I've had this on my car for a few months now and every day for 5 days a week this is operating for at least 8 hours. I'm very happy with how it works so far.

Works perfectly for my boat, Iv struggled with finding a convenient wiring solution for all of the electronics and finally decided to order this, easy installation; overall a great solution for my purposes. Might just order a second one for my jeep now. Will give updates down the road.

I liked that I could get rid of all the extra relay switches wiring to on off switches and all can be shut off .

For the price, this is good. But I wish it had the accessory feature. Need to manually press on/off to illuminate the switch.

The media could not be loaded. Value for money. It's amazing. Does it fit in my sequoia in the engine compartment? Yes, it's so easy to hook up. Quality just as good as aux power.

Is it better than that? Yes cuz it's cheaper. $80 is a bargain. I bought the aux power just as it got delivered, I was looking on Amazon and it suggested this one for $80. I think it was actually cheaper.

I believe it was $80 with tax.

So I sent the other one back and kept this one.

I bought a sequoia to lift and outfit it as an overlanding and towing vehicle for our overland trailer that we got. I wanted something bigger that could carry more weight. But anyways so I sold the other truck and that I had the Aux power in that truck there's no difference between this off brand and that brand. So to my suggestion to anyone by this save yourself some money, it's absolutely identical in every single way. And if you've never had one of these, it's amazing. There's no more drilling a hole in your dash put in a switch in. There's none of that. Hooking up lights or accessories is so easy. Because you already have the control unit in your vehicle, you put the wires in to its position depending on how many amps it pulls. There are different amp sizes that you put your items in ranging from 30 amp to 5 amp.

I have an onboard air system that I'm putting in to deflate and inflate my tires as well as the airbags that I'm installing into the Sequoia. So I am running airlines so I can air everything up and down. And it's really nice that I just mount the compressor in the engine compartment and when run to positive and negative to the control unit. Put the sticker on the button that I want it in and when I want to use it I push the button. Air compressor turns on boom boom.

As I build this vehicle out and put on more lighting and accessories it's definitely nice having this unit. It makes life so easy and cluster free.

I will tell you you don't need the app controlled aux power because it's pointless, you're going to use it one time and you're never going to use it again. So save yourself the money. Just buy the color that you want I know it sounds convenient to have an app controlled lighting system, but by the time you pull your phone out, go to the app and turn the light on and off. You can walk to your car or you can just push the button. I had it in my last vehicle. I used it one time.

People stop leaving reviews about the bad shipping or if there's a missing part just return it and get exchange instead of leaving a bad review for something dumb like that. That's what I Amazon is so great for it's just returning something if it's missing or if the shipping was a day late just send it back. Don't ruin the seller.
