The advertised speeds are attained using feather light bolts. THIS is what leads to limb failure. I never took the provided bolts out of the box. I am using Carbon Express Pile Driver 22" with 125gr Rage 2" Hypodermic. 525gr total on my scale. Stupid accurate and devastating on animals! Also perfect with the included BDC reticle scope. 2" groups at 60 yards. I do not doubt that MANY people have had limb failures. That's what happens with the 375gr total weight bolts that are included. Know what you are buying! I could not be happier!

Went together easily. Only thing unclear from description is quiver can mount parallel or transverse the barrel, no big deal. Haven't checked velocity, current target can't take it and it's wrecking the fletchings. Sighting in was no trouble, reticles match pretty well to 40yds haven't gone further, illumination is decent, blue is very high contrast. One gripe, kinda big, stock seems to be releasing during firing, I don't feel it happen but it's slides up a couple positions. Once I sort that out I think I'll be very happy with this bow.

Awesome crossbow. Was very skeptical about buying a cheaper crossbow because it wasn't one of the big brand names, but let me tell you, this is the best bang for your buck. Everything you need to get started is included. The scope that comes with it is absolutely garbage, buy your own it will make your life a lot easier. I also upgraded to a heavier bolt for more penetration and it definitely helps. The hype about crossbows shooting 100+ yards is just that, hype. Do not expect to be shooting 100+ yards with it. I have mine good out to 50 yards and that's pushing it.
