Caught 2 Mice in the first night

We live in the mountains, and started to get mice coming in as the weather starts to cool down, and I was about to lose my marbles, so my husband stepped in:
1. We placed all 4 of these traps strategically along the edge of our baseboards- mice like places that feel safe, so in between the dishwasher and fridge, in the closet where we keep the trash, in the closet where we keep the dog food, etc.
2. One trap had bait in it, which caught one right away
3. The other trap had no bait at all, but we placed it by the dog food where we knew they would be attracted to.
4. These traps caught two mice, while our more expensive repeater traps caught 0.
I recommend. I also got peppermint sashes for all over the house, peppermint spray, wall plug electromagnetic frequencies, and also more repeater traps for the outside to try to deter them from even coming in int he first place. It has only been one night. Stay tuned.

Caught my mouse on the second night. Use cheddar cheese, not peanut butter. I didn't have the heart to kill it. She/he now lives in a dry aquarium with a cheddar cheese and avocado meal every day.

Good thing this trap works. I bought the usual mouse trap at Home Depot but the mouse is too smart for it ( was able to get the small piece if cheese without getting trap!"” my mistake I should have put peanut butter instead so it will linger to get the trap work). Anyway I found out that the mouse like to chew on the rubber thing on door frame, so I positioned this trap before it can access the rubber . Boom! there it is , worked on separate times. I got lucky that I found their favorite spot because I noticed that they know how to avoid the traps placed at baseboards.

Put 3 traps out last night, 2 traps caught mice and both mice escaped by lifting the bait end of the trap. I taped the bait door closed so we'll see what happens now. Smart little suckers!! ðŸ˜
