Not bad for the price

Quality was ok, handgrip is fine, I felt the accuracy is not 100% right.
It actually works

For the price I thought this was a joke, but got one anyway just because it was too cheap.
Took a while to arrive and I am very skeptical that it would actually do anything. But wow I am totally surprised that not only it works, it actually works pretty well.
You can set it to meter or yard. Compare to my other specialized golf range finders, this one has got some nice tricks up its sleeves. It has pin seeker mode and slope mode. You can also use it to measure vertical height, and speed of an object. I mean I get it that it's all just internal calculation based on distance and angle but it's pretty cool nonetheless.
No idea how well fog mode works since it's 20F outside and definitely no fog. I haven't compared it against my other laser to see how accurate it is but it appears to be pretty on target.
For 10 bucks.. I think I'd be happy if it's even a half decent monocular. LOL

The Visiocrest B-3280-BL Rangefinder was ordered to replace my current unit.
I have owned several rangefinders in the last 20 years, and this unit for the price ranks right up there with some of the more expensive models from other companies.
This unit has 5 different modes with which to use it In practice, I will only use one mode which will allow me to key in on the flag on a green. It has modes for ranging (whatever that means), scanning, flagpole, speed, and fog. I don't play golf under foggy conditions and most of the other modes I will not use. However, if the unit allows me to accurately find the distance to the flag, then I will be satisfied.
This unit is powerful. It has the ability to determine the range up to almost 1100 yards. I will only need to use it up to about 300 yards. This is a must-have feature for golfers and hunters. In addition, I found the image to have very high clarity. Also, the viewfinder allows you to adjust the clarity.
The unit has coated lens, is very lightweight (almost too light), and comes with a fabric carrying case. The quality of the lens & coating appears to be of higher quality. The unit is definitely light and I would prefer it to be slightly heavier for stability when reading the distance. I would have much preferred a hard shell carrying case, as is the case with my other 2 rangefinders since it provides a higher level of protection if the unit is dropped. This cover will provide protection from scratches, but does not seem to have that extra protection provided by a hard shell case.
I tested this unit with one of my other rangefinders which I know to be accurate. It was tested at short, intermediate, and long distances. In short distances, there was a 2-yard difference. At intermediate and long distances, there was a 1-yard difference. This is obviously a minor difference. I've tested other units in comparison to my accurate unit, and there would be anywhere from 5 - 8 yard differences. That could have a major impact on a golf score if one is having to carry a lake or avoid a hazard. Thus I was very pleased with the results of this test.
Ther is one other factor with regard to this unit. The button one presses to determine the distance is very stiff. It must be held in tightly when reading, and this creates some tension in the hand/fingers. My other units have buttons that are easier to push in and hold.
BOTTOM LINE: I like the accuracy, visual acuity, and outer distances this unit can determine. It's a powerful unit with some minor flaws. Its price point makes it a desirable purchase for golfers or hunters
considering many other units cost 2 - 3 times as much as this unit.

Near as I can tell it works. Looks good and seems like clear and easy to operate.
Precise but accuracy needs work

I compared this rangefinder against another rangefinder that I have and against known distances, and performance on this one is ok. What jumped out at me is that this rangefinder seems to consistently be about one to two yards short in its measurements, which is not ideal. This really undermines this rangefinder's ability to measure down to a fractional number (less than whole number). That said, if you are using this to measure past 50 yards, I am sure that being one or two yards short is not a huge deal past 50 yards, but still, it's a little annoying.
This unit comes with a bunch of modes, which is nice. Although I don't really have a use for it, I do like the tachometer function that lets you measure something's speed. Another nice thing is that a battery is included with this unit, which is not the case for other rangefinders on here. Since this is not your typical battery, I really appreciated having this in the box.
I was able to request and get this rangefinder for free from Amazon Vine. I probably would not spend my own money on this if I had to get another one simply because of the accuracy of this unit's measuring, which is too bad because I like everything else about it. I already have a more accurate rangefinder, and if that one ever gives out or I lose it, I would probably just switch to this one, so the accuracy issue is not that bad.
