My occupational therapist provided me with a few of these and was delighted to find them on amazon to purchase. I crochet, write cards and letters and do crafts. I use the tubes to incase pens, coffee cup handles, crochet hooks, on the steering wheel to improve my grip, on my craft knifes, paint brushes and so many other places. They even can help open small lids on bottles. Getting ready to purchase more so I don't have to continually change from pen to pencil or paint brush to brush. Great for eating utensils. They are too small for my walker handles so I use pool noodles for that. Great for people with grip issues, athirst, Parkinson's. Highly recommend. Excellent quality product.

The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is I wish they had some texture. They wouldn't be as easy to clean, but it would help with the grip if it was a little rough, similar to pool noodles. Very helpful for gripping pens and utensils while my hand was in a splint.
