I truly can't say enough about the Magnifique 4-quart Slow-cooker. I have been looking at shallow-pan slow cookers for a while because I work all day and don't like to come home and cook dinner. This absolutely solved my problems! I have had it for a couple weeks and have been using it constantly; it cooks evenly and thoroughly, and is really easy to use... just set to the desired setting, and come home to perfectly cooked casserole, soup, chili, pulled meat, etc. I like to cook smaller portions, and at 4 quarts, the size is just right. I have a dishwasher, but haven't put the ceramic insert or lid into it because nothing sticks! Super easy to clean, very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend spending a few bucks and making your dinner-duties much easier.

I am happy with my crockpot. Making greens and ham hocks. Last week made short ribs, they were good and cooked just right. Food actually goods nicely on high. Have not used the low yet. Kind of new to the crockpot use, after I temporarily lost the use of my stove. Stove is working"¦. but I think I am in love.. 😀 if anything comes up later, I will update.

Out of 3 slow cookers I ordered from various places, this is the only one out of the three that came completely undamaged. I had to return the other 2 because they came damaged and unusable.

I've successfully used this 7 quart slow cooker 3 times to prepare meals. They came out well. I'm glad I finally upgraded from my old 80's round crock pot finally. The thinner crock of this unit heats up faster and is generally more responsive to cooking within a time limit than my old crock pot was.

I like that the lid handle is big enough for my older and smaller hands to grip easily and protect my hand from burns. The lid is lightweight and fits pretty well on the crock.

I've used the warm feature for sometimes 2 hours if it finished cooking before I was ready for dinner. It truly was only warm and not further cooking my food.

One notable drawback is that it only has 3 feet on the bottom instead of 4. I think the unit would be a lot more stable with 4 feet on the bottom, and a lot less prone to tipping or accidents that could cause burns.

4 feet on the bottom would be legal CYA for the company by minimizing the chance of accidents. 4 feet on the bottom would also offer a feature on this company's slow cookers to attract buyers with better quality versus what other companies often offer.

So far so good came packaged nice on time delivery"¦Only 1 very tiny scratch on bottom no biggie if it bothers me I can get appliance black paint"¦Love the 4 feet on bottom for stabilization"¦It's big guys so I first cleaned crock unit now put water half way on low to see how it performs with the glass lid & handles heating up nicely going to leave it with water for a few hours see how it heats up on low & on high so I know what to expect with a new appliance"¦ I've seen many through my recent search of exploding glass lids & handles melting off !!! This actually had a pretty good review on that issue"¦ I think the problem is they're not putting the escape steam hold at the top of these units anymore"¦What's the problem companies ??? Check back later on review this unit is very nice & the metal steal body is a nice grade doesn't look like it density easy !!!

I just received this the other day for my birthday. I tried it out and it was getting warm in my kitchen with it being on. My oval crockpot isn't like that. The dish turned out good but it does get warm. And there is loud cracking noise when it's cooling down.
