Careful screwing in the bulbs.

they are built well enough and def worth the cheap price. Be careful screwing in the bulbs though, there is no stop strip in the bulb well so continuing to screw will push the bulbs electrical node into self and break. had to super glue it back to itself, lucky save is all. otherwise very well made and easily adjustable for lengths if you got a couple zip ties.

Bought this back in December and went to assemble it for my spring garden and one of the light bulbs broke at the base while I was threading it in. Seller sent free replacements after I was able to get in contact.
Overall the lights are fairly decent but do not provide significant saturation/intensity unless the bulbs are fairly close to the plants. I have mine set up ~ 4-6" above my garden tomatoes that only get about 3-4 hours of sun during the day and that seems to keep them pretty happy. Light density at this range is around 300-500 ppfd and I use it as an 8 hour supplement after trees block out the natural sunlight.

I have the perfect spot for my bonsai trees, and we live in the woods, so my perfect spot is in the shade of the canopy for too long on summer days. I strung these lights on a clothes rack above my shelves with shower curtain hooks and put them on a timer to fill in the when needed and they've worked perfectly. There is plenty of room between individual lights to cover the whole area, and I like being able to adjust the intensity of the light by how close individual plants are to the center of each light cone. They've held up through high winds, heavy rain, falling tree branches and several frosts. They do generate some heat so I am careful to reduce the time that they're on as the days get shorter so the plants go dormant on schedule. I'm confident that these will pack up easily and be ready for next growing season with no problem.

I have two raised beds that I started earlier this season. They're in an area of the yard that usually receives great sunlight"¦ except Colorado has been having an unusually overcast, wet summer. I followed previous reviewers' advice to pop the tabs with a butter knife to allow the bulbs to make better contact, which worked like a charm. Overall, highly recommend!
