If you've tried to pick up most cello hard cases, you know how heavy they can be! This case is only 9.5 lbs and my daughter can manage it very well! It has an extra strap around the neck of the cello, soft lining inside and the pocket for the bow zips, which is better than most bow pockets that only have a snap. As a previous reviewer mentioned there is also a soft strap at the head of the case, which makes maneuvering the case very easy! The outside of the case has modern streamlined look (we got the black one)! If you are hesitating about which case to buy, because it is definitely an investment, this is a great case and worth the money!
