This is a very easy to use quickie scanner. For older photo negatives for sending a photo to a friend, or a quick negative scan for IG it's really quite surprisingly good.
It's not for professional work, but I would think that should be obvious.
I've scanned numerous old negatives for my family, given them a light cleaning up in photoshop and sent them out to friends and family who were happy to have them.

Viewer is very small and it works good!

It is so small! The picture you see when ordering makes it look like it is a nice size viewer but it is only about 6 inches tall and about 4 inche wide. Once you get the settings set correctly it does work good. The screen size is about 3 inches x 3 inches.

I originally was upset when I opened the box and thought I had a used one. Now I think it was opened to validate product quality - at any rate, after leaving poor feedback for the seller (and I'm not sure how to re-score that), I am leaving this review to say this is a pretty handy gadget, and worth it for the price!
I've only just started using it, so we'll see what I think when I need to get through more photos - but since I always kept negatives, this is a nice way to scan in the pictures instead of using my printer/scanner!

I have a huge box of unlabeled slides and film negatives of many different sizes. This device hooks up easily to my tv or computer, and gives me the ability to see the pictures - some for the first time is nearly 40 years! Capture works pretty well too. It's definitely labor intensive since it's a manual process to insert and film and slides, but for the price, it's a great product.
Overall a good purchase for the amateur.

The instructions for the cleaning brush are misleading. When I inserted it, the brush would not come out without using a knife to hold down the flap inside the slot.
