If I had a continuous music source that I need to broadcast to a Bluetooth device this would be great. However, I was hoping to link my keyboard's speaker out to wireless headphones. The delay just doesn't work with a live device. Imagine hitting a key on an electric keyboard and having a delay. It ruins the timing and would probably drive you nuts.
Overall easy, affordable way to add BT to an audio device, but definitely not for musical instruments. I wish I would have looked at the reviews more closely, as several users have pointed out the limitation.
I actually feel bad for subtracting a star, but a disclaimer or "intended use" statement would be helpful. works well, but not what I needed.

Works, but with a bit of a hissing sound

Does the product work as advertised? Yes.
Synching to my phone was pretty simple. Note the instructions provided are in what I'll call "mouse type" font. (really really small, to the point that I needed a magnifying glass to read them)
The device does allow me to stream from my phone to my 10+ year old Bose countertop device. However, there is a very small hissing/static sound. I've plugged the unit the connection was solid - it is.
However, considering the cost-efficient price of this model, I can deal with that small hissing sound between songs. When music is playing, I can't hear anything but the desired audio.
I can't speak to the battery life of the product, as I keep it plugged in, so it's ready for use at any time. (The device did require charging before use).

easy to charge, easy to use as either transmitter or receiver. I use it to hear audio on TV and play music on speaker. Car speaker with audio jack can work awesomely. Play audio from Bluetooth device (phone) to speak (with this receiver) or from TV (transmitter) to the Bluetooth headphone. it shuts off automatically when not in use. Charge last long enough.

The media could not be loaded. This tiny little trans murderer works as both a receiver, and a transmitter. I can switch it to transmit mode and put it into an audio out jack that's intended for wired headphones or speakers to convert it to working with Bluetooth, headphones or speakers. But, more often I am using it in the receiver mode. I turn the switch to the receiver mode, and I can plug it into an aux outlet, and turn devices into Bluetooth devices that otherwise were not. For instance, I can put it into a speaker that has an aux in and transmit via Bluetooth right from my phone. I can also do the same thing in the aux input of my car. I now have Bluetooth capability in my car and can use my hands-free mode on my phone as well as connect to my music library. Discharges via micro USB. There is a small switch that allows me to taco between receiver and transmission mode. When the blue light is on, I know that I am in the receiving mode. There is a red light, and it comes on when I am in transmission mode. This helps to alleviate any frustration between switching modes.
