Not perfect, but better.

I just completed this project, so I can not comment on durability at this point.
As you can see, I had tile countertops. I hate them, but didn't want to spend money on different ones until we gut the kitchen (wrapped cabinets earlier this year as a bandaid too). Tried the sponging and it wasn't our thing, so we stayed with solid black. If I would have known that is what we were doing, I could have saved money and just bought the base and top coat. The kit barely had enough to do what you see plus one small separate countertop. Since it was tile and I needed to get into the grout lines, I used another primer first to even it out a bit. Glad I did because with getting in the grout, it wouldn't have been even close to enough paint.
Instructions are simple, easy to accomplish. Didn't realize there is a 14 day cure time before you put heavy objects on the countertops.
Oh - and no matter what your husband says, take the sink out... I had to do touchups around it when I peeled the tape and it added days to the project because of drying and curing time. Luckily I meal prepped before we started.
Amazing

I am so impressed by this product. Easy prep, easy to do and the final results are outstanding. I admit I did skip the step of adding in the colors to mimic granite. I wanted solid black and loved it then I added the sealant, with the tiny little specks! And it took the whole thing to the next level! They call it glitter and I guess it technically is glitter but it is really fine. So once the counter dries it has a glint like diamond dust sparkle. It has been holding up really well. I did have a worrying moment. I left a cutting board on the counter and left for the day. Turns out there was water trapped under it. So, I thought for sure it was gonna fail. But, NO it didn't! It looked wonky for a bit but I just left it alone. Figured no point of fretting after the fact. When I came into the kitchen the next morning it was FINE!! It dried out or whatever but was 100% back to being perfect. I was shocked and thrilled all at the same time! If you are looking for a product to change it up, your search is over.
It turned out great!

The process is time consuming so be prepared. A cost effective way to update your counters. Lots of blotting, the sponges are not easy to use on the edges. Practice blotting the colors on small spaces before you do it for a more realistic look. Overall very good product.
Product exactly as described!

Super impressed with this product and the end result. The directions were prefect and the colors were true to display. Also, the quantities of the paint were perfect (says it covers about 35 sq. ft. and it was pretty much dead on accurate). Follow the directions exactly and your countertop will come out great! One thing to note: I don't quite think it is a "done in one weekend" project. Give yourself more time then suggested, just to get the hang of things and to allow for max. drying time. Also, I did order one extra can of the final clear acrylic coat. I wanted one additional layer; it worked perfectly. Well (well!) worth the money!
Beautiful transformation!

After reading many reviews I decided not to use the acrylic topcoat and ordered an epoxy to use instead. No blue tint! So happy with how they turned out!! Only bad thing is the rollers they give you leave a bumpy finish had to lightly sand and polish after they cured.
