This thing is impressively quiet for the money! 2 thumbs up!👠ðŸ‘
A few comments:
I managed to fit this into a pre-existing hole from an old Nutone that was 11 1/2 x 10" (the grill barely covered)
It was not easy, but I got it done.
The unit is only supported by brackets on three sides. I would add a block of wood or something and support the fourth side near the duct.
The duct port has a backflow damper in it that falls out very easy when you are installing it. You need to be careful putting it back in because if you put it in the wrong way, it won't open up. There is a little bump stop on the inside of the duct port"¦the damper opens into the exhaust duct.
I also noticed that the damper did not open up too well if the duct was not installed perfectly on the pipe. I would be very careful making sure that the dampers working correctly because this makes a big difference how quiet it is! Make sure your duct pipe is not kinked as well. Again "¦the free flow of air makes the unit more quiet.

I was expecting a quieter fan for 0.8 Sones but its fairly loud. Seems to move lots of air and works but not thats its installed I cant replace it.
