I wore these post partum and they were comfortable. However they're not the most convenient to remove and change while out. Consider if you'll be out when needing to change this or if you'll be home. I had to remove all of my bottom clothing to change it out. I'd rather had the mesh underwear or boy shorts with an extra large pad. It was more comfortable and easier to change out.

I purchased this product in advance of foot surgery, knowing that I often need to urinate urgently and that, in the weeks after surgery, I probably wouldn't make it to the restroom on time. The pros: soft, relatively comfortable, fragrance free, long-wearing, I never feel wet. The cons: I would say they run a little small; if you are at the top end of the sizing chart - maybe size up. Pricey, but high-value if you have the money to spend. Enormous crotch! I get that they need to be wide enough to catch plenty of urine as it comes out, but wow. Leakproof, but not spillproof; they handle even a substantial dribble like a champ, but if you can't hold back the flood, then prepare to get wet, because neither can they.
