These portable nets are valuable tools for running effective practices"¦safely. It takes setting up several times to get the hang of it. It's not the most intuitive, but I've set up other portable L-screens that were more complicated. This has taken some serious shots - liners - from 12u players and has been durable so far this season. My only complaint is that there is too much of a gap between the netting and poles in the bottom/lower corners. I was hit by balls screaming through during front side soft toss sessions. Solution is placing a bucket near the gap, or slapping some bungees around the net and poles to close the gap. Ultimately, I'd buy this again.

I help out with coaching a girls softball team. We were in need of a pitcher's net, to protect the girls while practicing. This net seems to be working well. It is very easy to set up. It comes with detailed instructions but really you dont need them. The poles connect together to build the base. Then you add the netting and the end poles to hold everything together. It can be flipped left or right depending on what hand they are pitching with. A few days ago at practice one of the girls hit a line drive right back toward the pitcher. Thankfully this was in place and protected her from being hurt. I think this will last us awhile even with regular use. It is sturdy and made well.
