These are ok for the cost. They don't snap together; the legs of the top just slide into plastic cuffs set on top of the bottom legs, so it's really easy to accidentally pull the top and bottom apart by mistake. And the plastic cuffs that hold the top and bottom legs together aren't very sturdy. If the plants are lighter but need some support, these work fine. My cucumber plant did well with one of these. However, if you use them with tomatoes and neglect to keep an eye on them and train/prune the buggers back enough, they WILL pull these things apart as they grow and fall over; potentially snapping the plastic cuffs along the way. Especially if the roots aren't deep enough.
Getting these set up is a little, frustrating... because there are so many moveable parts. They like to shift and rotate while you're putting them up. Highly advise putting them over the plant BEFORE it gets tall enough to need these and then training the plants up through them as they grow. Otherwise, expect a headache and some slightly mangled plants.

I had a large tomato plant. I pulled the ring apart at connector, put ring around bottom of plant. Reconnected the connector and squeezed the ring smaller. Try practicing on a table first. You must re-connect the ring properly so the ring slides through the connector, otherwise it won't shrink. They are a little flimsy, but will work for me.
