I wish we could build our own variety picks of either 6 or 12 skeins. For example: I think 6 skeins of the same color should be 2 skeins of 3 colors or 3 skeins of 2 colors.

Weight should be described according to US knitting standards. It is lighter than a "light worsted" as described. I think it is lighter than a dk weight also. I started a baby sweater and tore it out to use the yarn for something else. I knit for charity with my senior knitting group and will use it for a different non young baby item.

Normally I go for 100% natural fiber yarns, however for this project (baby blanket) I wanted something that could stand up to washing without shrinking. First of all, the colors are BEAUTIFUL. Rich and earthy. The yarn works up very nicely (I used a 3.5mm crochet hook) and doesn't split or snag. It is very soft and does not squeak or feel plastic-y at all. It is easy to keep tension. I would wish for a bigger variety of colors but you can always buy from the other packs or variety packs. I think this is pretty decently priced for the quality at just under $4/skein. And EVERY SINGLE BALL had the center tail poking out!! No more ripping out yarn guts! Honestly will buy again just for that reason alone, it is a HUGE pet peeve of mine to rip out yarn guts so I was so happy to see every single center tail thoughtfully left out. Love it :)

This yarn does work up beautifully! I ordered on two separate occasions and didn't run into dye lot issues. This yarn does have a slight halo to it, but using it in a wearable turned out great. It's soft and works out to be a medium weight. No one believed I found this yarn on Amazon. This top is something I will hand wash to make sure the color won't run because it's so beautiful. I would absolutely buy this in other colors again!
