Very Good Saw
SuperKyle✓ Verified Purchase•September 28, 2023
This Saw works great. I just finished my first job with it. I cut through 1/2in flat bar with ease! It's a huge upgrade from cutting with a grinder. The depth stop works great too! No complaints.

so far no problems thank you good machine.
Good price and way more accurate than a chop saw or angle grinder

Tip for new buyers: There's an LED indicator light with a twist on cover. Don't get curious and untwist it like I did or it will be a pain putting back if wires disconnect like they did for me.
Great so far cutting mild steel flat bars

Based on the first few uses... Product arrived in good shape. Virtually no assembly, just add rubber feet and add the work stop if desired. It appeared to be well tuned. All the blade rollers moved well. Blade tension was about right. Adjusting blade angle is easy, moves smoothly and solidly.
We are using this just to cut hot rolled mild steel flat bars. 1/4" x 1 1/2" and 1/4" x 2 ". Adjusted for stock depth as far as possible. Again worked easily. The cast iron vise works great and holds bar firmly. Out of box the product cut the steel bar very nicely. 40 to 50 seconds to get through the 1 1/2" wide bar with little pressure. Nice cut. Certainly good enough for our purposes. Blade seemed fine. Can feel the weld hitting when cutting through the steel but not badly.
We'll see how it holds up and how often the blade needs replacing but for our purposes this has more than met our expectations.
Very satisfied with the saw particularly for the price. Will update if run into any issues.

inexpensive tool

It gets the job done just dont overload it. The trigger feels cheap but works fine. For light cutting of steel or aluminum its works great. I would burn thur several a year if used daily at a job site. Good value for the money.
