I had a larger version of this Washer by another maker first and it lasted several years with almost daily use but it was really too big for my space and my loads, so when the pump for the drain went out and the spin tub started slowing down after several years I decided to buy one slightly smaller and chose this one.
This one washes every bit as good as the first one, it does not have a pump to drain the water it's gravity fed instead which I kind of like better and this one is better for the size loads that I do but it will not do a comforter (like the bigger one I had first did).
The size of this one makes it easier to move around and to lift into my tub for when I do laundry, I plan to make a platform across the back of the tub to set it on full time so I don't have to store it in my closet. Very happy with the purchase, extra bonus it only takes a little over a tablespoon of laundry detergent to wash a load.
Edit: I took one look at the water intake hoses and decided to fill mine with it 5 gallon bucket. It is painless for the convenience return of having a way to do laundry.
If you are doing solar you might want to know this pulls very little juice to operate. I have a little 350 system as a backup and when the power is out & I can easily do two to three loads on solar without damaging my energy reserve.

I loathe laundromats. So, I am temporarily living in a RV and there is no washer/dryer.

This machine does require a lot of labor. The hose isn't designed to attach to most bathroom sinks. I was pouring buckets of water into it until another Amazon reviewer said she places her shower wand into the washer for filling. Genius. No more pouring buckets.
If you overfill the washer, it will flood so I have mine in the RV shower. I watch it fill up and it takes about 5 minutes.
The washer really agitates very vigorously and you can select the wash time. After washing, you have to manually turn a dial to drain all the water out.
Then I completely ignore the instructions which say you should spin the load, fill it up with water all over again and then do a rinse cycle and spin everything again. I'm too lazy for that.
Once the tub has drained, I pick up individual items and spray them very briefly with the shower wand. The drain is already open, so the rinse water just drains out into the shower.

Now for the dryer portion. There is no dryer. There is something akin to a salad spinner. You can put only 2 or 3 things into the spinner at a time. Then you can select a spin time. It spins very fast and you can see the water draining out of the hose. So you may have to do 3 spin loads for a full wash load.
Then you hang your items to dry.

It is a lot of work. If I weren't able to sit on the toilet to do all of the spinning, filling and draining, I would find it too labor intensive
KEY POINT: Don't forget to close the drain dial before your next washing load. I have sat there wondering why it takes so long to fill and , duh, the drain is open.
This washer is good for 1 person, not a family. Despite the labor involved, it is still better than the laundromat.

I've had mine for about 3 months and I absolutely LOVE this thing. no more trips to my parents' or the laundromat; I can finally do my laundry at home! takes some strength and to move it around when anything is in it, but otherwise it's rather light for being a whole washing machine and spinner.

the best arrangement is having it set up in the tub on top of a large and stable container so the water drains out on it's own with gravity. I purchased a longer hose so I can fill it from the bathroom sink with ease.

I usually throw 4 pairs of jeans and a couple sweaters in there and it does a great job getting them clean.

pros:
- small, portable; perfect for a small apartment or even if you went camping
- super powerful for the small machine it is
- spinner gets things pretty dry, but you'll have to air-dry them overnight. for jeans, it takes 2 nights of air-drying to get fully dry

cons:
- spinner is small and doesn't hold a lot (e.g. I can wash a blanket in the washer, but the spinner is too small for the same blanket, so I have to air-dry it in my shower)

if you get this, just remember: it's light when empty, but very heavy when full!

It washes really good. The spinner did really good, you can't put all the clothes you just washed in spinner only put half in depending on how much you washed. To drain water properly you must lay draining tube on floor near a drain hole for water to drain or else you will have a flood. It will not work like a regular washing machine.

I am really impressed with what a good job it does. Agitation and the centrifugal extractor are both much more powerful than I expected.
I've been taking my clothes to the laundromat. I was so horrified at how dirty the water was after washing in this machine that I've been washing everything twice!
I live off grid and very happy with the power usage. It shows to use 250 watts when the agitator is running. Takes 5 gallons of water to fill the tub 3/4 full. The agitator is so strong that it needs the head room for the slosh. The spin basket gets everything really dry.
