Not Perfect, But Acceptable at Least.

Measurements are true to specs. Definitely waterproof straight out of the bag. Well made and fine tailoring. Complaints: the tieout reinforcements are tiny, almost nonexistent. The little plastic tie offs are flimsy and tiny. Not really realistically sized for outback camping where I'm working with stuff onhand. Easily remedied with paraloops but not perfect. Overall satisfied but a little disappointed for the money.

I bought the 12x14 fly to mount over my aging, water-seeping gazebo, and the large size was enough to keep the rain off the entire brick patio as well. No more covering patio furniture every time rain is forecast. Tent pegs are aluminum and high quality, guy ropes are the brightest dayglo I'd ever seen. Love the high count of tie-down points, Good product so far, will keep an eye out for uv degradation and update review.

I would give 4.5 if offered, due to one thing and one thing only. The attachment points are all small plastic rings instead of more durable nylon loops. While the plastic rings seem durable as plastic can be (and none have broken in my very short usage period) they can't be as durable as well sewn nylon loops like those present on higher end tarps. Maybe this is a concession to keep it in this price range...and if so I understand. Other than that..seems to be an excellent product. I love that the stakes have serrations to help catch the guy ropes (which are needed to properly set up in most applications).

We have used this for our camping trips in the west and east coast. Unfortunately for us, both trips we encountered rain"¦like lots of it. Fortunately for us, this tarp is waterproof. This tarp took some serious beating from gusty winds and heavy rain, and it held up just fine. We also like it a lot that it lets in a lot of light from the sun in the daytime and at night, the light from the lamps bounces off the light colour tarp which brightens up the surfaces under it.
Well worth the money, with great versatility!

Have a couple of the Gold Armour tarps. Like all the tie down points. Allows a lot of different configurations. Bought this one simply because it matched our tent. Every Gold Amour tarp we got has been strong, and waterproof. Goes up before the tent does, in case it does start raining. Always tie the guy lines thru the loops, and poles thru the grommet hole. Never had one tear out yet. Even in some gusty winds. Well worth the money!
