Great economical safe!

This is a great little safe! To be clear if not bolted to the wall, nothing prevents a thief from walking off with it. It is not fireproof or break-in proof.
With that, it sits on shelf in my closet and holds some values and my firearms. I specifically bought it to keep my firearms locked up and out of reach of my son. For that, it is great!
The fingerprint reader is good and works as designed! Admittedly, you have to hit it just right with relatively dry hands for it to work. The fact you can program up to 30 prints is great, use it for me and my wife.
We also use a key code as a backup to gain access. Setting up the fingerprints and code was very simple. There is even a little alarm you can set if some rocks the safe and deactivates with code or print.
One downside is every time you press a button or use the print reader, it beeps. It is not overly loud, but loud enough if you want to access it in the middle of the night because of a suspected intruder, depending on the size of your house and location of safe, may be heard opening.
One thing not mentioned in the instructions. The safe dial/keypad will not work if the batteries die (that is mentioned). The only way to access it of that happens is the emergency back up key (don't lose) or (this is what is not mentioned) the safe does come with a battery back up kit. The kit plugs into the safe keypad and powers it up so you can use the keypad and/or print reader to get the safe open. Once opened, you can replace the batteries.
All in all, at this price point and my needs, this is perfect. Not too big, small, or overly complicated. As long as your not looking for something that is theft proof, this is great.

Not a bad little safe....but, it is very front heavy. The body of the safe is solid but not very thick, the majority of the weight is in the door so when you open it and it isn't anchored into the wall it will cause the safe to fall forward.
The "leather" interior looks nice but the covering on the shelf wasn't glued very well and is coming away from the shelf as shown in the photos. The interior light works well and isn't very bright but bright enough to find objects inside in the dark. The shelf is removable, however it's a bit difficult to get out.
The finger print ID works surprisingly well once programmed. I honestly thought it was going to be just a gimmicky kind of thing and not a fully functional finger print scanner but once I programmed it, it works well with the finger I used to program it and ONLY that finger as it should. Both barrel lock keys and the lock work fine. The digital keypad is a bit difficult to get to turn on, it seems to work better when there is some kind of light shinning on it.
The biggest drawback to this safe is that it talks. Every time you put in your password or use the finger print ID a voice says "Please Open The Door" and there doesn't appear to be any way to turn it off. Nothing about the voice is mentioned in the owners manual at all and I didn't see anything about it in the description. I don't like the idea of people knowing every time I open my safe when they hear the voice. If you are using this for your home protection firearm storage you certainly don't want a voice letting the intruders know you've opened your safe!

This is a great safe that employs both biometric and combination access with an emergency external power source in the event the batteries fail. Also, a manual key for entry with electronics fail. Finally, it has an interior light, which makes it great.
The only downside would be the rather flimsy shelf that's in the middle, but that can be overlooked.
