Good price and was easy to Assemble. I put the bed extender together and attached it to a Honda Pilot. I was able to fit two Kayaks into the back securely. However, I have not actually transported them yet. I will try and update. It seems to hold the Kayaks fine and seems sturdy.

You know, for the price, it's a great accessory to Jane in your material handling arsenal. Allowed me to strap a 45' (25' shortened) extension ladder to the roof of the Range Rover and transport it a few miles.
It's really sturdy. The variable height adjustment is perfect, allowing me to use it on a variety of vehicles. The fact that it can go tall as well as long is also a plus, meaning I can carry kayaks and other longer items on the pickup. The hitch stabilizer included works really well.

The width dimensions of the load bar are accurate: 27.5" min and 45" max. However, the uprights can be mounted facing down so the width is virtually unlimited although there will not be support beyond 45".
In the low/horizontal position. Extension from the center of the mounting hole in the receiver to the inside (facing car) face of the vertical bar: 46.5". Extension beyond the bumper will depend upon where your receiver is mounted. On my 2021 Toyota Sienna it is 38.5". Height from top of the horizontal support bar to the top of the load support bar: 19" min; 25.5" max.

Extension beyond the bumper on my 2021 Toyota Sienna is 6". Height from top of the horizontal support bar to the top of the load support bar: 48" (47" if dropped all the way without the pin fitting) min; 57" max. In the vertical position, the unit is very "wiggly" but as long as the load is strapped down to the vehicle, this is not a problem. If it will not be, the included bolt-on clamp (a nice touch to include it) should stabilize it, although it will take some time to install and remove with each use.
I have not put the extender into use. It is well-made and sturdy and should function well. I had another similar extender 20 years ago and this one is much better designed and made. It comes with rubber pads for the main load support bar as well as the vertical side load bars, also a nice touch.
