Hi, so my dad's house was built in the early 1900s and he is now in a downstairs bedroom in need of using a walker. The door to his bedroom is 20 in to 21 in wide which made it extremely difficult to use a regular walker. I just got this Walker and adjusted it to its lowest setting and it is perfect it can now fit through the doorway with about a half inch to an inch on each side... it is sturdy too which is great! This is a game changer for us for sure! We didn't need the underarm pieces but we just left them in the box and probably will just throw those out. It also took me about 4 minutes to put the walker together and adjust it to the right size height and width. Worth every penny!

Purchased this walker for my 94 year old MIL. The primary consideration was that it would reduce in width to 18". The entrance into the bathroom is 22". Unfortunately, once the wheels were put on the total width was over this. My husband moved the wheels to inside the walker and it now fits through the doorway. We also purchased tennis balls and sliders from Walgreens to replace the rubber feet. We tried both, my husband thinks the sliders work best but we'll let her decide.

I read reviews. I put the wheels on the inside instead of outside. It goes through a smaller bathroom door and a piece of furniture near a doorway in my parents home. The larger regular walkers would not work through these doors. It seems sturdy and should work for my 200 lb father.

Friend has brain cancer that causes her mobility issues. We got it for the color, not the armrests, but they have become the best part of the walker. She spent 2 weeks doing PT at the hospital and they were ecstatic about the arm rests. With her body weakness from the cancer she was having a lot of falls trying to use a standard walker because when her leg gives out, her arm soon gives out as well. With the armrests, the weight stays on her upper arms and she doesn't fall.
