I'm pretty happy with this surround sound. I only have a couple of minor complaints and none of them are related to sound quality. All of the speakers sound great and the system can go plenty loud.
My main complaints are:
1. There are no pre-drilled holes for the mounting brackets to hang the speakers on the wall so you're essentially screwing into the back of the speaker.
2. Even when the system is off the large blue strips on the front of the subwoofer are illuminated making this system not ideal for spaces where you may need or want to complete darkness. My bedroom is right off the room I'm using this and if I don't close the door I can see the lights from my bed.
3. The volume control allows you to individually adjust each speaker. This is great except that aside from the subwoofer, they're all just maxed all the way out. I suppose I could turn the entire system up more and then turn down individual speakers but it seems more trouble than it's worth.
4 stars because I'm concerned I'll damage the speakers by screwing the screws directly into them and turning "off" the sound system doesn't turn off the lights.

This system provides brilliant crisp sound although the bass is still overpowering when turned all the way down. It is effortless to set up but does not provide remote codes if you would like to control the volume with your service provider. I for instance am unable to add the Volume up/down or power control to my FireTV max 4k.
