I have had this for over a year now and it is still going strong. I just slid it onto the water spout, no screws though included, and it has stayed there with no issues. Got it because of critters using the gutter as a private elevator to my attic. This solved the problem instantly. Once they come out, they can't get back in. It is a one way door to the great outdoors. Would buy again.

Had new 6" gutters installed after we redid our roof and all of the downspouts were inviting rodents and snakes to make a home. Looked at the cheap plastic grates but after spending thousands on gutters why not give them a professional finish. GutterGates keep pests out but allow water to easily flow away from your house. Heavy-duty, easy to fit on and secure, clean look. We had 1.5" of rain shortly after installing and these worked as advertised.
As noted, make sure you get the correct type (A or B) since they're not interchangeable.
