Key features

  • [EL7 FU 2.3K for PS5 Controller] – 4x replacement analog joystick work with PlayStation 5 DualSense wireless controller. The thumbstick module was made by Favor Union (FU). The stick controller comes with 2.3KΩ trimmer potentiometers in orange color
  • [Compatibility] – PS5 controllers use two kinds of joysticks from two different manufacturers. EL7 was made by Favor Union (FU), while EL6 was from ALPS. The 14 prongs were positioned as the same. EL7 and EL6 are interchangeable with each other
  • [Additional Resistor] – Complicated moving mechanism and daily wear and tear finally caused drifting. Even new sensors cannot be 100% balanced. Calibrating in controller settings might not work. We packed 10x correction resistors to solve the potential problem in hardware level. Solder one or two paralleled tiny resistors onto the potentiometer at the opposite direction against drifting. It will help correct 3 to 5 degrees drifting
  • [When to replace] – The analog joystick needs to be replaced when your controller has the problem of drifting, creeping, stuttering, a blind spot, a dead spot, a dead zone, no reaction when clicking, or it wouldn't center after years of wear and tear. The OEM genuine repair parts ensure accuracy and prolong lifespan
  • [Reminder of Operation] – With as many as 14 prongs, de-soldering and soldering the whole module takes serious skills. Professional repair with a heat gun is suggested. You can simply replace the side potentiometer sensor alone to solve most of the joystick problems

I bought these after purchasing a set of joysticks that didn't do so well and I compared the two and just the weight of the item alone was diffrent feels high quality and has a bit of heft for being so small, i was suprized by the packaging because it came in a foam tube that was sliced open so they wouldn't get moved around in transit, my others came in a bag, I haven't had a chance to install them yet but I will update after install
Fantastic!

Took some time for me to get the hang of it but these are OE controller analogs. I wasn't sure which manufacturer made original parts but on the metal plate on my 3 controllers i fixed it says "ALPS" so you're getting original parts, it doesn't get much better. Everything is made in china so. If you're having slight stick drift, i recommend taking you're controller apart and cleaning the 2 squares that pop off from the sides of analog with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. If it comes back shortly after then just replace these. Much cheaper than a new controller. Fixed the drift on 3 controllers!!
These are the real deal. But you need the proper tools and experience to relpace them.

The parts are a perfect match to the originals. Just make sure you order the proper model. If you don't have a vaccum desoldering gun you may want to not chance this job. I don't think solder braid is going to be enough. The thick metal frame of the joystick is used to anchor them to the board and it requires about 400c to even melt the solder. You could get away with only changing the actual potentiometer parts, but remember one leg on each is on a heavy ground plane.
Does what it should do

Had crazy stick drift on my left joystick after only 3 months of use, completely unacceptable for their product..i still have ps2 controllers I used daily for 5+ years with no signs of stick drift.

Desoldering was the longest part of this installation, although it was probably my fault. I didn't have a suction tool, and my wick was absolutely not working for this situation. Ended up using hot air and tapping the board until the original part slid out.

Elecgears replacement worked just as it should. I will update this review if it ends up failing relatively quick.
