The telescope came with a bag for travel and portability. I generally leave the telescope up for use, but it tucks away when the toddling grandson comes to visit. It was easy to assemble. The instructions did not explain the different lenses uses, but I found the information I needed through google. magnification is great and I can see some detail of for moon's craters. I am still learning what else to look for as I night gaze with the telescope. I am 5 foot tall and I am still trying to discover how to use the eye piece placement comfortable. During the day, I can take photos through the telescope, but have not been able to line up the telescope and camera for moon photos as movement in the attaching the phone always changes the site. I look forward to more practice and taking the scope when I travel.

Its a good telescope for the cost. Good lenses, magnification etc. I was hoping for the ability to make more finite adjustments with this telescope. But overall it is a good value for the money and I am glad we purchased it!

First telescope I've ever bought. Haven't spent much time with it but the time I have has been kind of frustrating. View finder doesn't align with the scope itself so it's hard to locate a star, for instance, and the look at it through the scope. Also, you can't put your eye up to the viewing lens...you have to hover a little above it to see an object. I'm not very steady so the object moves around a lot. Not sure if it's me just be picky but I don't really have a reference to draw from.
Overall, the scope is pretty well built and doesn't feel flimsy. The stand works well and is easy to use. No real complaints other than I'm a rookie at using it.

This is the first telescope I had got, primarily because my kid has been showing a lot of enthusiasm in watching the stars and moon..
I was skeptical if I will be able to set up the telescope and most importantly will I be able to use it to view the moon or stars. To my surprise it was very easy to setup and the views were simply brilliant!! We used to view the moon and it was stunning..

3. Portable and a decent tripod.
Cons:
1. Nothing much. While the tripod is pretty sturdy I did face little difficulty while moving the scope in vertical direction.

This is my first telescope and this thing has got me hooked on stargazing! It came perfect with nothing damaged. It's super simple to set up and get started.
The only thing I don't like about this scope is the tripod it came with. I'm not sure if something is wrong with the one that came with mine but it is not very stable at all and it is hard to center and properly focus on what you are looking at. I just slapped the telescope on a better tripod and this thing is perfect.
The telescope gives a way more clear view then what I was expecting at this price range and I haven't tried any upgraded eye pieces yet. Overall I'm really happy with this being my first telescope and really surprised by how much you can see with even a small telescope.
