I wish there was more room around each piece, to make it more forgiving for young children. As it currently is, you have to exactly place the piece for it to go into the board. That being said, they're cute and colorful and my TK students love them.

So this may have just been a product of mishandling during shipping but one of the boards of the puzzle was slightly splintered which you can sort of see in the image. I used a hammer and sort of just smushed it back together before taping it. I can't imagine kids being able to destroy these puzzles without effort (like jumping on the board) but I did take a star off durability and sturdiness since It was damaged.
The pieces themselves were fine which is admittedly more important since they are what the kids will handle the most. The pictures were fine for kids, but some of them had tears, again presumable from shipping. The knobs on the pieces are nice and big so little kids can grip them fairly easily. There is a picture on the piece and on the puzzle board so it's really easy for kids to match them. It's really a good toy for teaching kids the recognition of objects and shapes. Overall I think this would make for a good addition to any toddler's puzzle collection.

I chose these peg puzzle sets to replace our many puzzles that have lost pieces over the years. What appealed to me about these puzzles was the variety of images, there's something for nearly every one with all the options available. The cut edges of the wood are not sharp, and fit nicely into their places. The paint is well done and overall this is a really great set to replace some worn out ones in our home. They would be a great addition to a home play space/learning space and also would be wonderful to gift. Would recommend to others!

The media could not be loaded. My daughter really enjoys all these puzzles. Some of the pieces go in smoothly and some take some maneuvering because the pieces fit just right. These puzzles are very sturdy. The box they come in holds them nice and organized for cleanup.
