These are good quality boots. I've owned different styles from nortiv and they lasted around 2 years. I wore them 8hrs five times a week. Towards end of those 2 years they literally fell apart, but no complaints here they were comfortable and worth every penny. Yes Red Wings/carhartts will last you a lifetime, but after two years, they smell so bad, that I would end up replacing them anyways. And at $300 these nortivs are a no-brainer.
Now the reason I'm writing this review is because this style of nortivs run small. I ordered a size 12 and had to return them. Soon after I ordered a size 13 and they fit perfectly. So if you like really snug boots order your size, but if you want comfortable all day work boots order a size up.
