Not the sturdiest of tripods - but good for light work.

The remote control for this is the weak point - I used it a couple of times and then promptly lost it. Wish there'd been a way to attach it to the tripod - that's the only reason I put that to 3 stars.
Otherwise, it's lightweight and reasonably sturdy. I'm 6'2", and can raise the head up for easy pointing of my cell phone. The adjustments lock w/no problems, the legs move in and out smoothly and the clamps are more than adequate.
I wouldn't recommend this for anything but the lightest camera-lens combos if you're into regular photography, but for a cell phone it's the perfect portable tripod.

I have seen a lot of tripods out there, and I was skeptical of purchasing this one, though it is lighter and looks like it won't hold the thick and heavy cameras, but I was amazed when I installed my cam, it was perfect, easy to move and lightweight, so you can take them wherever you want because it is not heavy to carry. Good for travel too and hiking or anywhere you want to go with just a handy bag.

I bought this to hold my phone to record my proposal. I stand 5'9", when extended it sits eye level with me. You can record 360 degrees, seems pretty sturdy. Will also be using to record my daughters graduation next month using my Canon- I'll update review afterward!
