Cooling vs. Heating

I initially purchased this one and it works great but ended up exchanging it for one that heats and cools. I live in the Midwest where temperature and humidity fluctuate like someone turning a light on and off. So like I said great product just buy the most appropriate one for the area you live in

After I seasoned I put a 69% boveda packet in and have 2 hygrometers in it that both consistently read 68-69%. Only thing that would make this better would be if it could heat the inside, i keep it in a room that isn't as warm but I still stay around 65° f

Love this Humidor.Very quite and looks good.Keeps the temp that you desire.Easy to set up.Touch buttons in front are very responsive the one thing I think could use improvement is the light inside to include the bottom tray but other then that I Love it.

Seems to be working as it should.
I would have given all the stars but I didn't because I see no reason why it could not come with drawers and not these pretty much useless shelves.
If you were to put your smokes on a shelf and then pull open the shelf, yeah - they'd be falling all over the place and bouncing off a floor is not a good thing for cigars to experience.
Maybe the people who designed these or whatever they did, should include a few people who actually have and need to maintain cigars.
I did order a drawer that I believe was suggested for it "at a ridiculously high price" and it did not fit. It was for something else. CRAP!
I don't understand all the bad reviews; like I said, so far it's good. However, I've only had it a week. Hopefully I don't have any more problems or issue besides these shelves verses drawers.
Also, i added the humidifier you can see in the photo displaying the setting .

I have 3 NewAir ones- 2 with the the heat function and the other just cooling like the NeedOne. I do prefer the heating as well, but the deal was too good to pass on for this unit. Well built and works great. Some draw backs is the design as it has the same supposed capacity as my NewAirs but the design is more narrow which makes it difficult to store boxes. The NewAir are wider but shorter. Also the door has to open wide in order to access the trays where the NewAir you can just open partially to pull the trays out - something to think about when setting up near a wall or anything else to the right. Overall seems to be a nice unit and built solid.
